The geared motors can be supplied for a power range up to 200 kW and rated gear unit torques up to 35,000 Nm with helical, offset shaft and helical bevel gear units.
Versions with helical worm gear units are available up to 11 kW and 1,590 Nm and motors with worm gear units up to 0,75 kW and 80 Nm.
MOTOX Helical Geared Motors
The Conventional Solution for Your Drive Application
Helical geared motors are the conventional solution for your drive application. Helical gear units are coaxial units where the gear unit output shaft is in-line with the motor shaft.
A solid shaft is always used as output shaft. Additional components – e.g. gear wheels or chain wheels – to transfer the force to the driven load are therefore required.
Solutions utilizing helical geared motors are capable of an extreme variable speed range.
MOTOX Helical Bevel Geared Motors
The Angular Geared Motor with a High Power Density
Helical bevel geared motors are angular geared motors where the gear unit output shaft is rotated through 90° to the motor shaft. Helical bevel geared units can either have a solid or a hollow shaft.
Helical bevel geared motors represent the ideal solution for drive tasks where an angular geared motor with high power density is required with continuously high output torques.
MOTOX helical bevel geared motors are available in the power range up to 200 kW and rated gear unit torques up to 20,000 Nm.
